The Bowmore, a fabulous mini bar / drinks cabinet / bottle storage cabinet made from a retired Scotch Whisky barrel. The barrel most likely originates from the bourbon rich area of Kentucky or Tennessee, USA and was later used in the Scotch whisky industry. What a past and a wonderful talking point.
The Bowmore is effectively half of a solid oak barrel. The cabinet opens by means of a hinged door at the front and secures with a hasp (padlock not supplied) . The Bowmore stores around up to two dozen bottles.
The inner shelf is made from a retired Scotch whisky barrel lid .
The Bowmore has been subtly restored, retaining much of its original character.
The oak on the inside is stunning. It is partly charred from when the barrel was first ‘toasted’ and it oozes rustic appeal. The lights are for example purposes only . They are a cheap and simple way of illuminating the contents of your bar and the inner oak staves beautifully (cost around £5 each).
The rear of the cabinet is made from veneered flooring, stained with Jacobean in order to blend with the natural oak tones of the barrel.
The Bowmore possesses all the character you would expect to see from a barrel with decades of service and will look incredible in any home or bar type establishment.
The Bowmore comes with a FREE tealight holder made from a retired oak stave. It offers a lovely mood light setting.

Shipping is to the English mainland only due to this requiring palletised delivery. Shipping to Scotland and elsewhere can be arranged however additional shipping costs are likely. Shipping is Mon - Fri and will require a signature.
As this is a timber product it is susceptible to the effects of moisture. This could result in minor gapping between the barrel staves depending on conditions within your home.
We advise a suitable floor protection, especially if this was to go onto a solid wood floor, in order to avoid scuffing .
