At Coach House Creations we make unique and innovative pieces from retired Scotch whisky and wine barrels. Many of our items have been part of the Scotch whisky industry for decades and possess all the characteristics and charm which capture their fabulous past, not least of all that sumptuous whisky aroma engrained deep within the oak. If you are looking for something special, with a story to match, then look no further ....
A fabulous drinks cabinet made from a reclaimed whisky barrel. The unique thing about this design is that it is more suited to being a centre piece which can be accessed from all angles. This design is perfect for entertaining purposes and will look amazing in an open plan kitchen diner or home bar. The bar will comfortably hold several dozen bottles.
The barrel originated from one of the bourbon rich areas of America, most likely Tennessee or Kentucky. It was later used by the Scotch whisky industry. What a story, and a great talking point among guests.
On the inside, the oak staves possess much of their charred / toasted appearance, combined with a gorgeous golden tone. We can supply 2 x USB chargeable lights which highlight the characterful oak and also help make your drinks collection look incredible!
The middle shelf is made from a Scotch whisky barrel lid, encased within sections of a retired Scotch whisky barrel hoop.
The bar comes with mini barrel stave tea light holder and shot rack with 6 shot glasses.
As an added extra, each bar will have a bottle opener attached to the side.

- only available for shipping to English mainland only due to substantial shipping costs elsewhere (including some areas of Scotland).
- The barrel bars are not suitable to be stored / used in areas of excessive heat such as by radiators, wood burning stoves and in warm conservtories and summer houses. High temperatures can cause the staves to loose too much moisture and shrink.
- shot glasses / glass tea light holders may vary.
- other props shown in photos are not included.
- The underside of the bar, which is out of view, is purposely not over worked to allow some originality. There may be paint remains or faint distillery markings present.
- we suggest suitable floor protection is used (felt pads / small mat etc) to prevent scuffs and scratches to hard floors and marks to carpets
